I have been reviewing films all my life, semi-professionally in the past and for the past 10 or 12 years on imdb and more recently in letterboxd and facebook. The idea of this blog is to get as many of those reviews gathered together in one place. I have had a great deal of support and encouragement from a lot of people throughout the world and I hope that continues. Now for the ratings. **** = not to be missed. *** = highly recommended. ** = recommended. * = of interest and no stars = avoid..

I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN no stars
This Z-movie brings the Frankenstein legend up to date and to small town
America. Whit Bissell is the new doctor walking in the footsteps of his
more infamous ancestor and determined to create a new human being who
won't be a monster like the one the Baron created but 'a youth' that he
can teach. It's terrible, of course, though the appalling acting and
unintentionally hilarious dialogue make it perfect midnight movie fare
while poor Gary Conway had the misfortune of launching a not very
illustrious career playing 'the creature'.
